THE OPPORTUNITY

As an IT Systems and Security Administrator, you’ll play a critical role in maintaining and securing our IT infrastructure, ensuring seamless operations and robust cybersecurity. You’ll manage hardware assets, oversee network administration, and implement security protocols to protect against evolving threats.

REQUIREMENTS

  • tick Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • tick Proven experience as a System Administrator or similar role.
  • tick Strong knowledge of hardware asset management and IT infrastructure.
  • tick Proficiency in managing Windows, macOS, and/or Linux operating systems.
  • tick Experience with network administration and troubleshooting.
  • tick Hands-on experience with security assessment tools and methodologies.
  • tick Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices.
  • tick Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH, CISSP) are a plus.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Hardware Asset Management:

  • tick Maintain and manage all office hardware assets, including computers, servers, printers, and other peripherals.
  • tick Track inventory and ensure all hardware is functioning optimally.

Local Network Administration:

  • tick Manage and troubleshoot the local area network (LAN), ensuring reliable connectivity.
  • tick Configure and maintain network hardware like routers, switches, and firewalls.

Office System Administration:

  • tick Install, configure, and update operating systems and application software on office devices.
  • tick Manage user accounts, permissions, and access rights.

Security Assessments:

  • tick Conduct regular vulnerability assessments to identify and address security risks.
  • tick Perform penetration testing to evaluate the effectiveness of existing security measures.
  • tick Implement security protocols and recommend enhancements to protect against threats.

Documentation and Compliance:

  • tick Maintain detailed documentation of system configurations, network layouts, and security procedures.
  • tick Ensure all systems comply with company policies and industry regulations.

Technical Support:

  • tick Provide prompt technical support to staff for hardware and software issues.
  • tick Educate users on best practices and new technologies.

Continuous Learning and Development:
